Uninstalling driver package

To get audio from some of my devices over USB (devices are connected to the pc with USB cables) I have to install a Windows driverpackage of Slicon Laborities. The package filename is CP210x_Windows_Drivers.zip. Due to several error messages from the devices like "Can not open soundcard" or "Error in Sound Input" or "Unrecognized error" I planned to install a newer version of this package. However after opening the "Apps & Features" window I saw six of these installed packages with the same name "Windows-Driverpackage-Silicon Laborities Ports. I tried to remove all these driver packages but no packages could be uninstalled or removed. When I click on Uninstall then I get for all of the packages a popup window from WindDbg which is running on the background. It shows: "ERROR: File "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository.... file not found. Apparently a file is missing causing the driver package can not be uninstalled. I tried to download the Troubleshooter on the Microsoft page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d, titled "Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed". However I got a message in my (Edge) browser telling:"MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstalling.meta.diagcab was blocked because this type of file can harm your device". How can I uninstall these packages to clean up before I install a new one?

Found the issue of "...several error messages from the devices like "Can not open soundcard" or "Error in Sound Input" or "Unrecognized error"... !

Uninstalling of the Driver Package was not required!!!

The programs (apps) controlling the devices did not granted anymore access to the soundcard due to changes of privacy settings (Start-> Privacy settings). I noticed that the same problem was also happening on my laptop. The laptop and pc recently got a Windows update. Maybe with this update the privacy settings were affected. So I keep an eye on it next time.

    Hi iloinen

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Download the widely available free version of Revo Uninstaller, it is very good at removing software that Windows cannot uninstall.
