Certain Keyboard Keys Unresponsive

Hello Microsoft Team,

I would like to report an ongoing issue plaguing my keyboard. I am unable to use a diagonal row of my keys, as they are unresponsive. These keys are 3, e, d, and c. I have tried various online fixes, but to no avail. I would like to know if I can source the problem so I don't need to purchase a new computer. I've tried updating, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, updating my computer, searching for malware, restarting with windows shift x.

    Hi VIVAAN DEV

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Bring up the on-screen keyboard, do those keys work on the on-screen keyboard?

    2

If those keys work on the on-screen keyboard, this is most likely not a software issue, connect another keyboard to your PC and check if the keys on that keyboard work.

    3

If those keys work on the on-screen keyboard and on another keyboard, then your keyboard has a hardware issue and will need to be replaced, on keyboards diagonal groups of keys not working indicate a problem with the the controller for that group of keys.
