I am trying to deploy local ARM written in JSON to Resource Group using cloudshell with both CLI and Powershell but faced error while parsing. PFA snaps to see error and code

@vaibhav18 , thank you for reaching out to us. The error message says that the syntax of JSON file Azuredeploy.json is not correct. I suspect that a curly brace {}, rectangular brace [], or a comma , might be missing.

Can you verify your JSON file in Visual Studio/Visual Studio code/Notepad++/any other IDE and let me know if anything is missing there? If not IDEs, you can also use online JSON validators like https://jsonlint.com/.

@vaibhav18 , thank you for reaching out to us. I tried deploying the azuredeploy.txt as both .txt and .json files you had shared in the comments and was able to deploy it successfully:

I suspect that the JSON/TXT file is not correctly uploaded. I suggest you to rename and re-upload the file using upload option in the Cloud Shell and try again:
