PC freezing randomly

Ever since i got a new hard drive, my pc has been freezing randomly. It doesn't freeze when I'm gaming, but rather when I'm browsing the internet, or if i leave the pc idle for some time, and later come back. In that case it will freeze when i move the mouse. The freeze makes the PC unresponsive, with even caps-lock not doing anything. The audio will distort itself and eventually cut off, with the only fix being manually restarting the computer. Sometimes it happens once a day, and sometimes it happens less or more often.

I have tried resetting windows, updating all the drivers, updating BIOS, running tests on the hard drive and on the memory, checking for virus, switching browser, completely reinstalling graphics drivers and so on. Thought the problem might be related to the TPM on my AMD B550 motherboard, so i turned it off in BIOS without luck. I'm guessing the problem is related to the hard drive i had installed, since the problems started appearing a short time after i installed it. Windows is not installed on this hard drive i might add.

After it crashing today I thought I'd finnaly ask for help here. I checked the event log and found this error message:

The computer restarted after an error check. The error check was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000501, 0x0000000000000500, 0xfffff805698fb320). Dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report ID: d96518f4-076d-4cc6-ac89-f21bab982a27.

I also had a bunch of similar warning messages reading:

The machine default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission to the COM Server program with CLSID {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239} and APPID {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97} to the user HAMZA-STATIONARY\hamze SID (S-1-5-21-3220823141-573320547-809244975-1001) from the address LocalHost (user LRPC) running in the program container Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost_10.0.19041.1949_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy SID (S-1 -15-2-155514346-2573954481-755741238-1654018636-1233331829-3075935687-2861478708). This security permission can be changed with the Component Services administrative tool.

Any help is highly appruciated!

    Hi Hamzi,s

Your memory dump file indicates that it is the device driver on your Nvidia graphics card that is causing the system to crash

You should completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the Nvidia device driver.

A slightly older version of the Nvidia driver is more stable than the latest version of the Nvidia driver.

    Hi Hamzi,s

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
