Hello.

I have a personal domain currently registered with AWS as my domain provider. I created a DNS zone for it in Azure and updated my name servers provided by Azure in AWS. Now when I try to dns lookup, it doesn't return anything. It has been more than 8 hours and still nothing. Not sure what I am missing. Does it usually take a long time for the name servers to be updated and if yes, how long?

C:\> nslookup www.**********.com
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.0.1

*** UnKnown can't find www.***********.com: Server failed

Your registrar should have an option for you register name servers and to change NS record for the domain to the Azure DNS records. For example, my Godaddy account is shown below:

    Hello,

Forgive me if I misunderstand, but AWS was your authorative DNS server and now it will be a DNS server in Azure? Have you checked with the name registrar to make sure the NS records are pointing to the new Azure DNS?
