Can you tell me if I copy the folder in the program files of some app and then paste it into another computer. And then I open the .exe file will it work, or do I need a setup? I found it worked with some apps like IGI or tor browser but will it work with other apps? And please tell sir, why it doesn't work with some apps but works with others.

Programs should be reinstalled from the original media (DVD, download, etc.).

You can't copy/paste installed programs from the programs folder and think that's it, as when a program is installed the files are spread throughout the operating system, in the registry and file association for other programs, etc., etc.

I have talked to many programmers who know some languages, but they couldn't answer me. I want to master Windows, can you suggest to me some books or articles or links that can clear all my concepts?

Not sure what kind of "programmers" you are talking to??

Most all program installations install things in other folders besides just the one you name. When they install, they likely install differently depending on the specific computer and/or operating system.

Bottom line: the answer is no. You must install that program in the computer you want it in.

Unless a very simply app that doesn't write data to the win folder in its setup, it won't work
