Automatic repair loop

I upgraded the ram and the hard drive on my HP15 notebook, which is running the latest Windows 10 version. When I used the media creation tool to reinstall the os it got stuck in the automatic repair loop. I have tried everything I could find online to fix it but nothing seems to work. It just refuses to boot up. Anybody have something I may not have tried? I have all the bios settings memorized by now. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

When I turn it on I don't hear any sounds and the screen shows Prepering Automatic Repair with the wait circle. I left this running one time for 5 hours. it just keeps looping.. As far as the rest of your instruction, it may have to wait until I get into my new apartment and the wifi turned on, but I WILL get back to you when I have tried it. Thanks again for all the time and effort you have put in on my problem. It looks on the internet like more and more people are running into this. Maybe we can solve it for everybody. Thanks

Sorry JhakeSong, I tried. it will not allow me to split the sources file to make it fit into 2 fat32 files. it is too big for one file and I am at a loss. I tried everything that was suggested and really hoped splitting the file would work, but no luck. The first time I tried to boot from the usb drive, the files appeared to be complete, but it would not boot. If I could afford another laptop, I would probably use this one for target practice. I wonder if I undid my upgrade and reinstalled the old hard drive and ram, it would boot up? That may be my next project. Thanks for your help. I do appreciate it.

    Hi StevenCallahan,

Good day! This is Jhakesong and I will be happy to assist you with this.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience. I would suggest reseatting the ram modules and the sata connector for your drive prior to reinstalling windows again.

Here is a checklist of troubleshooting steps contributed by one of our experts, Gian T. that was able to resolve a similar issue regarding windows installation. Hope it helps too.
