Windows 11 Audio Output Selection from Taskbar

In Windows 10 you could easily switch the output device of your audio by clicking the speaker on the far right of the taskbar and then choosing your desired audio output device. I can't seem to find the same option in Windows 11, and instead it seems like I have to go all the way to the sound settings and select my desired audio output from there. For people who frequently switch between headphones, speakers or internal monitor speakers, this is a huge inconvenience and an obvious omission from the taskbar capabilities. Am I simply unaware of a new method of doing this? Is this part of future development that has yet to be implemented? Why would this be removed?

    Hi Louie06.
    I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    To change the audio output in Windows 11, do the following:

    1. Click the volume icon next to the clock;
    2. Click the arrow next to the volume bar;
    3. Switch to the desired audio device.
