My pc crashes all day long. Sometimes it just freezes and sometimes I get a blue screen stating: Windows stop code. Then below it says Page Fault Non fault area. I cannot find a troubleshooter to resolve it. What can I do to fix this?

I am seriously thinking of going back to Win 10 until they get all the bugs out of win 11.

I made a Win 10 boot disc to go back to Win 10 just now.

If I do this, will I lose all my programs and personal files and folders?

I was told when updating from Win 7 to 10 I would keep all my stuff, but it was a huge mess for me to reinstall everything. Took two days.

Biggest pain ever to get back all my outlook contacts and Firefox favorites.

Would backing up and then restoring put everything back in its place

    Thanks for your help

It is an old Alienware that has been upgraded from scratch twice with the latest and most up to date parts I could get. New motherboard and all new components. I went from Win 7 to 10 and all was well. No problems. Then I upgraded to Win 11 and then win 11 Pro. My PC freezes and has to be reset or I get the blue screen. The only thing I updated was Nvidia Video driver. I tried to do a roll back on it but it will not let me. The button to roll back driver is grayed out. I dont know how to get Memory dumps or submit them.

Thank you for your reply and help

Is this PC brand made or home assembled? How old is it? How long ago crashes started?

The "page fault nonpage area" error has to do with info stored in the RAM that is supposed to stay there always but in this case that info is missing. You might need to roll back driver or windows updates if you've done any of those recently and if not then you need to reinstall windows. Make sure to back up anything important.
