In the past few days this has started popping up on my screen with an irritating frequency. Never used to happen. OneDrive just got on with the job in the background. Anyone know why this is happening please? And what can I do to stop it?

No worries. When the system restarts Lionel you will get a onedrive login window where you need to sign in. If the window does not come up when you restart click on start button and open onedrive from list of all apps.
This will bring the sign in window.

Thank you very much. I followed your instructions and once OneDrive had synced all my files again, I've not had a repeat of that annoying pop-up. BUT NOW i HAVE A NEW ONE!

Every ten seconds or so (even as I'm typing this now) I'm getting a new warning 'bong' and this window opens up. I don't know why and I don't know what to do with it. Every time I close the window, 10 seconds later its in my face again. In the last hour I must have seen it about twenty times. It's driving me insane.

Thank you for this, which I understand until your last sentence, so have not yet carried out the unlinking that you advised. If I restart my system, when you say 'login again to onedrive', do you mean to login to my onedrive in the cloud, or will there still be a cloud icon at the right-hand end of my Taskbar which I should use? Thanks. Excuse my ignorance.

    Hello Lionel,
    I am Jaspreet Singh.
Please ensure all your files are properly synced and that no file is currently in the sync panel. Then click on onedrive cloud icon then on help amd more icon in the top right then on settings then on account tab.
    Click on unlink this device.
Restart your system then login again to onedrive.
