I could see this under preview for last 2 years, when this elastic query feature would be releasing? we are checking the feasibility of using this feature in one of our existing code migration.

As per the product group this feature is still in preview and they don't have a clear ETA when it will be GA.

Hi @AnuragSharma-MSFT,
Is there any update on this yet please? We want to use Elastic Query between two Azure SQL databases but we cannot use it in production until it becomes GA. Do you know (or are you able to find out) why it is taking so long? Are there problems with it? Our initial experiments suggest that it works well for our purpose.

So a few years have gone by.... what's the status now? We aren't allowed to use things that are in preview, but this would be a great feature to use in one of our upcoming projects.
