Microsoft New Framework Error Message

I have been having this error message for a long time. Can someone please help me figure out how to fix it? Thank you in advance!

“MICROSOFT NEW FRAMEWORK

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Invalid XML document. The document does not have a root element.”

    Hi Cindy,

    Are you doing anything specific when that error pops up, like working on an Office document or anything else.

    Yes, the error messages just pop up on my screen about once a week.

    I’ve sent you all of the information that was on the Details drop box. That’s all it says.

    Is that error just popping up on your screen, or are you actually programming an application?

    2

    On that error popup, is there a bottom pane with a lot of code in it?

    If there is, can you please copy that code and paste that here, do I can try to work out the root cause of that error for you.
