Emergency- Bitlocker Support

Question

I have few questions related to bitlocker:

1. How to unlock bitlocker without recovery key, without formatting or fresh installation of windows.
2. How to save the data that is locked in the drive with encrypted password?
3. Why did this bitlocker enabled in my system when I upgraded my system from windows 10 to windows 11?

So, here is the problem.

My new laptop is locked because of bitlocker, it has really important files which I cannot afford to lose. this happen right after when I connected external SSD to take the backup, only thing I did was to connect the SSD before booting the system.

I tried with Microsoft technical support to solve the issue and they ask me to fresh install the system which will cause me to lose all the data.

Microsoft directed this problem to System Manufacturer and asked me to talk to them for the solution which is connected to secure boot enabling.

From your current situation, official tools can't restore data for you. You could only go to the computer repair shop for data recovery help, which is the only possible way.

Is there any way to remove this Bitlocker key to save my data? My laptop is only 2 months old and i have no knowledge of this Bitlocker. I never enabled it not requested from Microsoft or Asus. I don't have password and recovery key of Bitlocker and now my data is locked without any reason. Who will take responsibility of loss of my data?

This is Microsoft feature and yet no solution of this kind of situation, customer is losing their data. Online technical supports are just like a robot following set of instructions and repeating the same things, they said they are not trained to solve this kind of situation, and told me visit local technician to get the data and solve Bitlocker issue.

My frustrations level is at peak and if i don't get the solution then I'll sue Microsoft for this.

Here is an instruction to check when your bit lock is encrypted, including where it is encrypted.

By the way, you could see whether your lock is gold or silver？

Sorry to bring you this unhappiness, and I understand your anxiety.

Since the bit lock will be turned on by default when upgrading win11, your bit lock will be turned on when you upgrade win11 successfully. Notebooks that do not support TPM cannot be upgraded to win11.

When you plug in other external SATA devices to connect to the computer, the bit lock may start the security protection mechanism, resulting in your data being locked. But under normal circumstances, it will not be locked due to external devices. Does your win10 also enable bit lock?

At present, the only way to recover your data is through the assistance of three parties. The official tools need key support to unlock. But at present, you may not have any key to unlock, and we couldn't help you.
