Storage does not add up

Hi, I am currently running on Windows 10 and I am trying to clear out my storage in order to make my games run better. Right now, my "Apps and Features" are taking up most of my space. According to the storage settings, it is taking up about 142 GB worth of storage. However, when I look through the programs that are displayed, I noticed that it DEFINITELY does not add up to 142 GB. After this, I checked with the control panel and it says I only have 5.79 GB worth of storage being used by programs and other computer features. How can I see a more accurate representation of my storage usage and how can I see what is taking up most of my storage? Thank you and have a great day!

Note: I already have storage sense on and have already cleared out my temporary files. I've also turned on the option to see hidden files.

Thank you so much! It worked. Found out that a single game was taking up half of my storage.

    Good Day ChaiKid,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

You can use the tool called Treesize to check what are the apps or files taking most of your storage space.

    Here's the link to download.

    https://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free

Once downloaded and installed, open the app and identify what are the apps or files taking most of your storage space.

Check the things you don't need, right click on it and hit "Delete" to free up space.

Once done restart your computer and check.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,
