Ark wont update, Error code 0x80073D02

Question

trying to update my ark, for the first few seconds i have Microsoft store open its fine, and I can launch the game, but then after a second it says it needs to update, so I press update and it tries to update for a few seconds and stops, it says there has been an error, the app cant update when its open, but ark isn't open, even when I've just restarted my pc it still says ark is open, I've reset my Microsoft store in like 3 different suggested ways and nothing has fixed it.

Once done, perform a clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/help/929135/how-t... then launch the Microsoft Store app > go to Library > click on "Get updates" to ensure that all MS Store apps are updated as well.

Another option is to enable the "built-in" administrator account to isolate the issue:

1. On your search bar, type command prompt and select "run as administrator"
2. On the command prompt window, type net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter
3. Reboot your machine, then login to your admin account, and check if you'll encounter the same issue.

However, if the issue persist, kindly perform a repair install of your Windows which fixes the broken system files on your machine.

2. Temporarily disable your firewall/antivirus, then open the tool and select the option "Upgrade this PC now".
