Couldn't retrieve SMS Code ( forget password)

Hi,

When I try to recover my micrsoft account, I encounter this and couldn't retrieve the password through sms code.

Is there anyway of getting the code ?

I have already tried a few days and it is the same

    Ching, what do you mean you were rejected?

    First try changing the password on the account:

    If it wants to send you a Security Code then make sure the mobile and alternate email are set up properly:

    If you still cannot receive the code then make sure you provide as much information for Account Recovery as possible following this walk-through:

    You can update the form if you remember anything which may shorten the waiting period. But they will not usually budge because their computer algorithm is set to prevent any possibility of giving away your account information to the wrong person.

    If you are locked out of Windows due to this I can help you get in with a temporary account.

    Hi Greg,

    I couldn't proceed with Microsoft account recovery form because on daily basis I wasn't using the email (I used it for an acer PC when I I first bought it, to logon to windows)... So I was rejected when I tried on that option.

    Is there any other approach that I can try to get back my account?

    What happens if you choose "I don't have any of these?" WIll it offer to use your alternate email address if you set that up along with mobile?

    The more information you provide the sooner the account will be released, you can add information later to update the form.

    If you are locked out of WIndows I can help you get in with a temporary account until yours is unlocked.

    I'm sorry you're going through this but they will not release accounts without going through the procedure they've historically arrived at due to a recent outbreak of account hijackings. Once you get back in you may want to enable two-factor authentication to increase your security, making it much less likely to be hacked:
