Microsoft Edge Compatibility View Problem

We have some legacy software that is used on IE.

The company that provides this have advised that around 9 web pages need to be added into Microsoft Edge compatibility view for it to work after the 9th (Pay role software).

I add these websites and the software works, however, as soon as I close the web browser and open it back up again the websites have disappeared and they need adding to the list again.

I have added the web pages on another user's machine and do not get this problem. I have tried clearing the cache and history in IE and Edge same problem, Has anyone seen his problem before or have ideas for a fix?

Hi, I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you.

Here are two troubleshooting that you can try and should fix this problem.

Solution 1: Repair the Edge installation

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Apps, search for the Microsoft Edge and click on that

3-Select modify then click to repair.

Solution 2: Reset the Edge to their default.

1-Click on the 3 dots and click on settings

    2-Click on 'Reset settings'

3-Then click on 'Restore settings to their default values'

    4-Close the Edge and test
