Installing Windows 11

I'm trying to install Windows 11 on a new HP desktop. I am trying to check for compatibility and got this message, "We’re working on it

We’re working to determine if Windows 11 will run on this PC. See Windows 11 specifications to review the Windows 11 minimum system requirements and compare to your computer’s specifications." It's been over 30 minutes and there is nothing to indicate progress. How long should it take to determine compatibility?

Most computers that run Windows 10 can run Windows 11.

Upgrades can be performed in a supported or unsupported fashion.

There are multiple threads on upgrading in an unsupported fashion and if interested the methods or links can be posted.

This included unsupported CPU, TPM, BIOS, Drive, etc.

I had the same issue, and none of these steps helped (brand new Intel NUC 11). I finally went to the Win11 DL page, and it wanted me to install PC Health Check. The first time, it downloaded an EXE that just took me back to the Windows 11 product page. I tried again but with an MSI link, and *that* worked (go figure....the 20-year old install tech is the one to work while the web version doesn't). I *really* wish MS hadn't put so much of the installation process on a web page - even in 2022 the experience is just too unreliable (even on a brand-new Intel PC)
