Hi,

My mouse pointer keep blinking at left bottom corner and I notice phantom clicking which is very annoying. Sometimes the mouse just becomes unresponsive.

I check the mouse setting and error as picture below appear.

I google solution and try solution provided by someone who had same problem as me.

  1. Press Windows + X, and then select Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. Type SFC /Scannow on the prompt, and then press Enter. This scan will repair system files.
  3. Type DISM/Online/Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth, and then press Enter. This will fix any corruption that it finds.

I try multiple times and restart the PC a few time and still the problem persist

Please help.

Actually Sfc /Scannow in cmd will not repair the OS files in windows/cmd.Reason being

they are in use,to repair, after Sfc one must type: CHKDSK C: /F agree to restart, type: exit

restart pc.The repairs run on pc restart. Also,pc mouse flickering was caused by a virus

condition, try running windows defender and/or run youre anti-virus software.

    Thank you for the suggestions.

I full scan with Windows Defender, no virus found.

I try CHKDSK C: /F and restart the computer, the blinking mouse pointer + phantom clicking resolved.

But when I go to the mouse setting, the same error appears.

Well, one thing is solved and my PC works just like before, I guessed it's ok now, hopefully it won't recur.

    Thank you
