Hi,

Recently I have been seeing this black window open and it says patch module. I have no clue as to what it is and when I click it, it disappears to come back again. I have no clue as to what it is, or if there is anything I should do about it. I had no clue as to what kind of Windows topic it could be, so I just picked security. Thanks for the help.

Hi, it's part of the Folder lock app, uninstall folder lock and you won't see it.

    Hi dalidali52,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

When that appears on your Desktop, open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)

Select the Processes tab in Task Manager, and find that Patch Module process.

Right click that and choose 'Open File Location.

Please provide a screenshot of the resulting File Explorer window, so I can see the contents of that folder.

Also, right click the file in File Explorer, then select Properties, and on the resulting dialog, choose the Details tab, please provide a screenshot of that tab.
