Hello,

Suddenly i 've got the notification

unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed).

even if i dont have any usb device on , im getting the error.

I plugged in several devices in all usb ports and everything works fine...

I tried several things, like updating the drivers of that device, uninstalling usb root hub, installing driver infoupdate of my motherboard manufacturer but still nothing changed...

Does anyone know what is causing that issue? and how it can be solved?

    Hi Carlo,

I performed what you suggested but still im having the issue.

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

A request for the USB device descriptor failed.

    Any other suggestions?

    Good Day Stelios13,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the steps you can try.

-Click Start, type CMD and run it as administrator

-Copy and paste the command below and hit enter.

    Sfc /scannow

Wait until the pc finishes scanning and repairing any corrupted system files then proceed with the next command

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Once done restart your computer using cleanboot.
