Excel access denied error while saving on Shared Folder

Hi

I have Shared a Folder on a Windows Server 2019 (this is a member server in our Domain) for our Network Users , with full share permission.

On the shared folders I have given all NTFS security permissions except " delete & delete files and sub-folders " to prevent users of the Domain accidently deleting any files or folders. (also have to note that permissions "take ownership , see permissions and change permission " are not granted to Users . plus I have checked the Inheritance is disabled)

now while users can open and edit Excel worksheets , after they are done editing and attempt to save the changes they are prevented and "Access Denied " error is displayed.

Is there a solution or fix for this issue?

thanks
