I run an application that is very processor intensive. I would like to know if there is a way to check if this application has a higher priority? If so how would I go about lowering its priority?

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

You can follow these steps to adjust the priority for an application:

    1. Right-click on taskbar and select Start Task Manager.

    2. Go to the Processes tab.

    3. Right-click on the process you want then select Set Priority then switch it to what you want.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

    Hi Kent

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open Task Manager, on the Processes tab, find that process.

Right click the process and select 'More Details'

On the next Window right click the selected process and select 'Set Priority'

From there you can set the priority of that process
