Hello,

today i downloaded Windows 11 Insider Preview 22593.1 (ni_release) on my pc.

Now i realized that i don't like it, and i tried to uninstall it.

So i went on Setting, Windows Update, Windows Insider and when i try to select "unenroll this device when the next version of Windows is released" i can't select it, still if i am in the Beta channel.

I dont want to reset my pc, so what i can do?

Thanks!

Hi,

the insider build will only be uninstalled when the next build of Windows 11 comes out.

To stop getting preview builds, make sure your device is in the beta channel.

Then, reboot the PC, and try to unenroll the device from the insider program.

You will still stay on this build until a higher build number for windows 11 comes out.

If you want to get rid of the build right now, you will have to do a reinstall of Windows 11.

Insider builds are not intended for the average user and can also be unstable. You will have to live with the issues unless you want to reinstall.

Regards,

LightJack

Good Day LNLenost,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

You have two options to remove the Insider build. first is perform clean installation, save all your important files in a external drive to prevent data loss and proceed with clean installation to get the Official Windows 11 build.

Other option is to wait for the next build version that will be release higher from the one that was installed in your computer at the moment, then it will automatically switch to the stable build.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

Sincerely,

Carlo T.
