WHEA_Uncorrectable_Error while idle?

I'm running windows 11 with a intel core i7-10700F, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070, and 32 GB of RAM. The computer runs under load just fine, but if it sits idle for too long it bluescreens, usually with WHEA_Uncorrectable_Error, although I've also gotten the occasional IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Usually in event viewer it shows up as a machine check exception with a internal parity error.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124) indicates A fatal hardware error has occurred.

The minidump file points to "GenuineIntel.sys". It is the Intel Procesor driver.

    Please try the following.

    1. Update BIOS if it's available, If not try to reset its default.
    2. Check the PC temperature.
    3. Check if the PC is overclocking.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

    Hi CLS_491,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I'm already downloading the Memory.dmp file but is too large to be downloaded fast. Can you upload the minidump files instead because it is smaller?

    1. Open Windows File Explorer
    2. Go to C:\Windows\Minidump
    3. Zip those files
    4. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.).
    5. Then share the link here.

    Thanks.
