I have not tested it in another PC. Only have one. I wonder if I should just buy a new PC?
disk error event viewer
Hello, last week i started hearing random clicks from my HD and these errors in event viewer:
The IO operation at logical block address 0xd350160 for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\00000034) failed due to a hardware error.
The shadow copies of volume C: were aborted because of an IO failure on volume C:.
I REPLACED the harddrive with a new one.
Everything seemed to be fine until today when i started having the same issue.

This may be due to an unstable connection between the hard drive and the motherboard, or an unstable power supply.
Have you tested your hard drive on another computer?
