user profile cannot be loaded

I have an ASUS laptop with an I5. I recently upgraded it to Windows 11. I then did a complete reset to erase all files and backups. Nothing should be on here. When Windows gets to login screen, it shows my name as if it still has my old account. When I try to log into it, that's when it says user profile cannot be loaded. This error is also on a black screen. I've tried to open Windows in safe mode, and it still comes up with my account and says it does not have a pin. Nor will it let me set one. I was going to just wipe it completely and install Windows from external HD, but I don't know the Windows Key that is on it. I've tried 'wmic path softwarelicensingservice get 0A3xOriginalProductKey' in command prompt and it returns ERROR: Description = Not found. Any advice or things to try would be much appreciated!

Hi, I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you.

You don't need the Windows Key to reinstall Windows. On laptops, the Windows Key is stored in the Bios, and when you finished the installation Windows will be activated automatically, you just need to make sure to install the same version(Home, Pro, Single language).
