    Hello LisaDawson3,

Good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

If your copy of Windows 10 came preinstalled in your device then it is an OEM License which is not transferrable. Windows 10 that is bought from the Official Microsoft Store is a Retail license that can be transferred on another device.
