I had Cable Mod cable extenders in my computer for a few years and I guess one of them went bad because the issue stopped when I removed them. That's what worked for me
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR while gaming under load
Hi,
About a week ago my computer started randomly crashing while playing video games with the error code WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. It only occurs during more difficult to run games like Apex Legends and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. So far it hasn't crashed during normal use such as web browsing, streaming, etc.
Something interesting that I've noticed when it does crash is that the task manager reports my M.2 SSD (C: drive) as being under 100% load. I'm just not sure if it's relatively normal for the boot drive to be at 100% at BSOD or if the SSD is the root of the problem.
Here are the troubleshooting steps I've taken so far:
- Updated Graphics Drivers
- Updated Windows
- Updated chipset drivers
- Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic tool (reported no problems)
- Ran Western Digital SSD testing tool (No problems)
- Ran sfc /scannow (Found corrupt file and repaired -- didn't fix problem)
- Ran chkdsk (No problems)
- Ran CPU, GPU, and RAM stress testing tools to try to reproduce the crash (Never crashed during these tests)
I am also having trouble getting Windows to generate a dump file when it crashes. The only dump file I have on my machine is from Sep 2021, even though my computer has crashed problem 20+ times in the last week. I messed around with some of the dump settings, but still no luck.

2022-07-03T09:44:17+00:00 Hi,
Was your issue resolved? I am also having the same problem. I am not sure what the issue is. The issue doesnt replicate by any stress testing to any component for me as well. But it happens when the game starts. The dump files are also not being generated so not sure what is causing the issue. I have also tried to change memory stick but it doesn't solve the issue. If its resolved for you can you let me know what was the cause.
Thanks & Regards

2022-04-10T21:06:45+00:00 To swithch memory diagnostic tool to extended mode please press F1 when it starts.
Kernel-Power 41 (63) error mostly means the problem with power supplying. Can you replace power supply unit for checking? It may mean problems with power management in BIOS or motherboard too.
And you may try to turn off all CPU power saving modes in BIOS (different C states) to check if the problem is in motherboard.
See some details at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client...

2022-04-10T20:52:10+00:00 I don't recall seeing an option to run the diagnostic tool in extended mode. It just prompted me to restart my computer and then did 2 passes over the memory.

Did you switch Windows memory diagnostic tool to extended mode?
Please check system journal (Event Viewer) for possible errors at these moments, especially Kernel-Power errors. DistributedCOM errors should be ignored.
Or save system journal to evtx file and share it to OneDrive for analysis.
