Validated Teams app throws error on custom app upload

After creating a new app through Teams App Studio, exporting the zip file and successfully validating through https://dev.teams.microsoft.com/appvalidation.html, an error is received ('Something went wrong, please try again later') when uploading the custom app to Teams for the org.

This process worked previously and now throws an error. We also retried an app uploaded previously but the same error received now.

If your app fails to sideload, do the following until the issue resolves:

1.Go back through the instructions for creating your app package.
2.Validate your app package again.
3.Ensure your app manifest matches the latest schema.

There was a support ticket opened with Microsoft and continuing to troubleshoot the issue. Here is the latest:

The custom app upload error is received only when a bot is linked through Dynamics Omnichannel Teams integration. That worked successfully before referencing the bot id in Omnichannel Teams but now is throwing the error. Manifest looks ok and the app is validated successfully.

We tried a basic app with no bot link as a baseline test and the app does upload without error but when you try to add to teams after upload, there is no add button. Verified all custom app permissions are on in the org through the Teams Admin center for both users testing.

If you are the admin in Microsoft Teams, you could try to follow these steps to upload custom app:

1)In Teams admin center, go to Teams apps> Manage Apps> Org-wide app settings, under Custom app, open Allow interaction with custom apps, and click Save

2)Check if the Upload custom app option is enabled in the policy

3)Grant application policies to trusted users. Click Teams apps> Setup policies> Manage users

4)Upload custom apps. Go to Teams apps> Mange apps, click Upload, and click select a file to upload the application package received from the developer.
