    Hi ManticoreMatrix,

Welcome to post in Microsoft Community.

I'm Mosken, I do apologize for the inconvenience that you're experiencing right now, let me help you figure it out.

According to your description, I knew that you are getting a Windows Script Host Error when running a JavaScript script downloaded from Github. Even if you have tried to modify the registry. If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the reply.

First of all, according to the information shown in the picture, this error may be the error of the script itself, not the error of the system. You can try to view the relevant information in the source of the script, or search for relevant information with the keyword "JavaScript error code 800A0404". Or you can try running the script on another device and see if you get the same error message.

Also, you can post your question on **** Technology Forum, because this forum is aimed at professional users and developers, and they will give more specific solutions.

Then you can also try the following repair solutions to further rule out the problem of the system itself.

Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following commands one by one.

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, I wish that will be helpful to you. If your problem still cannot be solved by these steps, you could tell me the specific situation in the next reply. I will continue to assist you in solving the problem.

    Best Regards,

Mosken- MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
