XBOX Core Wireless Controller Keeps Disconnecting / Reconnecting

Hi everyone. I just got a new XBOX Core Wireless Controller and when I connect it to my Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i with Intel i7 10th Gen, it works fine for about 5 minutes then starts a constant process of disconnecting then reconnecting. I updated the Intel Drivers for Bluetooth to the latest version, but it is still happening.

I should point out that my Bluetooth headphones (Sony WH-XB900N) won’t connect properly either in that they connect but the sound quality is terrible and then after about 2 minutes they disconnect.

The Bluetooth keyboard that came with the computer works fine and so does my Bluetooth mouse. I am not sure if it’s a Windows 11 thing or something is up with the Bluetooth on the PC. Windows 11 troubleshooters and Lenovo Hardware Scans show no issues.

I have a Lenovo Legion 7i with an i7 10th Gen chip running Windows 11 and the devices work fine on that system, which is leading me to believe something is wrong with the Bluetooth on the Yoga Duet 7i. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Louie,

Thank you for your reply. I tried your steps, and it did not resolve the issue. My controller will stay connected for a short while and then enters a loop of connected / disconnected. It happens significantly less and sometimes not at all on my Lenovo Legion 7 laptop. The two machines have different Bluetooth cards, so I am not sure if it is an Intel driver issue or a Windows 11 issue. I appreciate your help though.
