it is known that when we place cursor on some icon it give name of the icon. but i found some problem like whenever i place cursor on any icon even on browser it suggest name of the icon placed on right side of taskbar. im attaching a screen shot. im using windows 11 22000.438. see date name on arrow which should not be suggested there.

    I too have noticed the problem is randomly happening, it seems to occur more if you hover the mouse over an icon then move the mouse to another icon where the original icon’s name shows rather than the current ‘hovered over’ icon.

    Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

    thank you for your response. my windows 11 version is 21H2. OS build is 22000.438. this problem is occurring randomly not always.

    Hello, I’m Virginia, I have 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.

    Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems. Which Windows 11 build are you running? The latest is 21H2.

    This is a known bug within Windows 11 so will eventually be corrected by a cumulative update.
