Is the 'Id' field for a Doc library automatically indexed?

Greetings to all,

Is the 'Id' field for a SharePoint Online document library automatically indexed? I ask because when I go to add an index, the 'Id' field is not displayed as an option - although I have it selected for display.

If it's not indexed by default, then how would I do so?

    Per my knowledge, SharePoint list ID column is an index column by default.
