My brother was using his laptop when a site popped up that the laptop was disabled and i should the number because of an identity theft virus, but i couldn't understand the man because of his accent and the loud noise in the background. The problem is that he can still open different windows and search things up. The site that he got the notification on says it's also not secure. What should he do to fix it?

Hi. I'm Brian and I will do my best to help you.

This is likely a browser hijack and it's a scam. Do not call the number and do not allow them into your PC or give them a credit card. Just close the browser or reboot.
