Screen flicking when in Browser

OK so lets just start off with the specs:

I've currently got a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming (that I purchased in 2017) running with Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050ti

I mostly use a desktop pc, so I haven't had to use this laptop for a while and it's mostly been sitting away in the cupboard for half the year. But at the moment I'm working remotely so I need the use of my laptop and there seems to be this issue that no matter what browser I'm on, whether it be chrome/edge or what I currently use Opera Gx, the screen randomly flickers whenever I move my mouse. The laptop also lags slightly just before each flicker

Now all my drivers are up to date - and still no fix - I saw something online saying I should change my laptops background colours but nope. Its not the end of the world but mostly just mildly annoying and I would love to see if there is possibly a fix out there that doesn't involve updating my drivers / or the browser cause those clearly aren't the issues.

    Good Day Krist_almighty,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

You can try to download and install the driver that was released by your manufacturer itself.

    Proceed with the steps below.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Display Adapters

-Look for Display driver that was installed

    -Right click and Uninstall

Once uninstalled, go to this link below and download and install the driver.

    https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER07307617M/1/NVIDIA-Ge...

Once downloaded and installed restart your computer and check the display.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
