Windows 10 Registry Key Reference

I was reviewing registry keys for Windows 10 and am wondering if a reference document exists.

More specifically, I am trying to determine the below.

  • The exact purpose of the Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WcmSvc\Tethering\Roaming\Devices-MACAddress- registry key and
  • When the LastSeen value will be updated with new data and how I can cause Windows to update/create this entry

I have seen this key updated with EPOCH time values (presumably when a new device is connected to a hotspot) but when I connected my tablet to PC I didn't observe this key being updated or created.

Keep dreaming. I'm pretty sure even Microsoft's developers don't know what half the keys do. But really, they should; despite the Agile Manifesto saying "working software over comprehensive documentation"... that doesn't mean we don't want documentation for work that's already complete, Microsoft. And ironically, the software doesn't work half the time either so...
