    Hi Bogdan-Adrian,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

You can create a shortcut to Backup and Restore.

    > Right-click on Desktop.

    > Click New > Shortcut.

    > Under, Type the location of the item: Copy-paste: %windir%\system32\sdclt.exe

    > click Next.

    > Enter the name of the shortcut.

    > click Finish.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

As a shortcut, you would indeed be able to have it on your desktop and/or Quick Launch folder below.

    %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

You might also see if the "Windows Backup and Restore" context menu added by the tutorial below may be helpful for what you want.

I'm not sure about automating the backup for changes like that, but you could create a backup schedule to automatically run when you want. It can be for an incremental backup so only changes get backed up.

thank you, i am going to use another few minutes from you time, please be patient. What i am interested in is to put only the backup now button on the desktop or quick launch. In fact it will be nice if i manage somehow to automate the process with " on change "(any modification to folder) condition.

    many thanks

    Hello Bogdan,

You could use the command in option 2 of the tutorial below for the backup action you want to create a shortcut on your desktop for this.
