Wrong Location.

Since upgrading to Windows 11 my laptop now thinks it is in Toronto. Whenever I access anything I get prices, etc in Canadian Dollars and some US websites won't load.

I have checked all the settings for time zone and region and it is all correct.

How can I convince Windows 11 that I am in New Mexico?

I tried the hotspot and it seemed to solve the problem - I was able to access sites that were rejecting the connection.

When I went to restore the connection to my ISP I noticed there were two with the same name. I connected with the one that I hadn't been using previously and was able to access the pages. I deleted the second connection since that seems now to have been the problem.

    Thanks for you help!!

    Edit:

I am now being rejected again: This is the error returned by the page:

    Error 1005 Ray ID: 6d2b3e6b0c6353f5 • 2022-01-24 18:14:51 UTCAccess denied

    What happened?

The owner of this website (capitaloneshopping.com) has banned the autonomous system number (ASN) your IP address is in (14061) from accessing this website.

Thanks, Tim. If you temporarily use Mobile Hotspot, does the issue persist? It helps us isolating if the ISP is at fault.

I tried these steps and when I attempted to log into Amazon it wanted me to confirm the login attempt from Ontario. Canada. I am still in Albuquerque, NM.

I turned location services off completely and still got the prompt to log in from Canada.
