Hi,

I recently reset my Windows 10 laptop and after the reset, all UWP app Ie including Microsoft Store, Calculator, Calendar doesn't work.

I did the reset on 2nd December.

I tried some solution that I found online but to no avail.

Solution that I had tried but fail

Resetting app in Settings

Windows App Troubleshooter in Settings (Cannot find any issue)

Cache reset via wsreset.exe (The "Open with" prompt showed up, with no app)

Re-register app in PowerShell

Using another account

Resetting my computer another time

Thanks in advance

Hello PlutoySky,

Thank you for updating me with that information. I apologize that this did not resolve the issue.

You may need to consider performing a Clean Installation of Windows 10.

Important: Back up your important personal data and files to an external hard drive or USB flash drive.

Download the Media Creation tool(Click Download tool now). Use the tool to "Create installation media (USB flash drive at least 8GB in size) to install Windows 10". Instructions inside the link.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Please try checking the link below for more details.

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2376-create...

Insert the USB Installation media into your computer. Please change the boot order in the Bios Settings. Boot your PC from the Installation Media you created.

Kindly refer to the link below on how to perform a Clean Installation of Windows by Greg Carmack - MVP.

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

Kind regards,

John DeV

    Hello PlutoySky,

Good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

If the issue still persists, Please try performing an In-place Upgrade. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

Download the media creation tool(Click Download tool now) and save it to your computer.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Open the tool and select Upgrade this PC now.

Make sure to select Keep personal files and apps.

It might take some time to install Windows 10. Your computer will restart a few times, Make sure you don’t turn off your PC

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Kind regards,

    John DeV
