Thanks for the reply, Neil!
I believe this issue was caused by a lack of free space. After freeing up space and recopying this folder, it now shows the correct file size.
Thanks for the help

Hello,
I have a 4GB folder that is reported as 4TB in file explorer properties. I see this was an issue first reported in 2018. I'm running widows 10 pro 21H2.
I've run several scans and fixed corrupted files as recommended in earlier posts with no luck.
Is this really still a bug in one of windows' most basic and oldest features?
Thanks!

I do remember something like this from the very early builds of Windows 10 but it is long gone now. (as far as I can tell)
Run check disk on the drive that contains the folder. Open PowerShell (Admin) and enter chkdsk /f /r [press return]
