My pc was processing too slow, so I decide to upgrade the window 10 32bits to 64bits. The installer require an external storage which I decided to use my 500GB hard disk, during installation the system made a partition of about 30GB for the iso file. After the installation I deleted the 30GB partition hoping to get my hard disk back to its original, every method I tried is not working as the external storage won't open and when I check from disk management it's showing the remaining volume as unallocated. Please any suggestions on how I can fix this without loosing my files on the hard disk?

If you try to create a partition using the unallocated space then there is less chance of file recovery. Using recovery tools will often have a method of accessing the drive without using a drive letter (accessing the hardware directly) to try and recover what may be available.

The more you change the partitions on the drive now the less chance of recovery of anything.

The files on your external drive are already lost.

You can only try to use a file recovery program like EaseUS Free Download Data Recovery Software of 2022 for File Recovery - EaseUS® Data Recovery Wizard Free

There are others to try. file recovery - Google Search

If these files are really important to you then contacting a file recovery company and paying to recover the files may be the best option.
