Can't download XBOX from Microsoft Store! Error Code: 0xC0020036.

Hi, I'm a user of Windows. I have been trying to download Xbox From Microsoft Store but every time I try to download it start Acquiring License, and after a few minutes it says "Something Unexpected Happened on our end" Code: 0xC0020036.

My PC Specifications:

Processor: Intel i3

RAM: 4 Gigabyte

Storage: 1 Terabyte

GPU: Intel 620 HD, shared memory graphics.

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Microsoft Store

If none will work from the above solution, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Note: Before doing this make sure to create a restore point: https://support.microsoft.com/en-hk/help/402753...

  1. go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
  2. Select the Download tool, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
  3. On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.
  4. On the What do you want to do? page, select Upgrade this PC now and then select Next.
  5. After downloading and installing, it should fix the issue.

I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you :)

First, let us try to Repair Windows Store:

  1. Download the Windows Store App Troubleshooter on the link beside: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
  2. Temporarily Disable the Anti-virus (If you have third party anti virus)
  3. Run Powershell
  4. On Powershell(admin), copy and paste the command below:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}\

    Just try this:

    Type troubleshoot settings on your search bar

    Click on Additional troubleshooter

    Select Windows Store App then Run the troubleshooter.
