errors when copying/cutting files

Hello Experts - I have Win10 Home (64b), 21H1 -19043.1466 - Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0 on a Acer E5-575 Laptop.

When I try to back up large blocks of data using copy, I sometimes get errors during the transfer process. But I need a way to go back & try to fix the files with errors - Is there a Log File somewhere or a way to list the errors I encountered?

Thx!

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Using the standard copy function, there are no logs recorded. However if you are moving large volumes of files you may be better to use RoboCopy, which has more options available to you, for when you encounter issues.

Please see this article for further information:

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
