Hello team,

I have an HP Pavilion x360 Convertible and recently upgraded to Windows 11. Everything is fine except that my camera hasn't been working for some time now. All my settings for the camera are turned on but I Can't find any camera or imaging devices driver on my device manager. I tried adding the driver but as you can see in the screenshot there are no options for the inbuilt camera. It was working fine up until last week and randomly started showing this no camera found error one day. I reset my pc in the hopes that if there are any corrupted files they would get replaced but to no avail. Please help.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

Actually, I have the same problem and by following the steps below fixed my issue, I know some of these steps are already done, you have just skipped it if you think it will have the same result.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

-Expand the Camera or Imaging Device

-Look for the Camera driver that was installed

    -Right-click and click Update Driver

-Look for "Browse my computer for driver"

-Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

-Choose an old driver and use it.

If none will work, check the camera driver compatible with Windows 11 from your manufacturer's website, if the same issue I suggest going back to Windows 10 first if there is no available from the manufacturer's website.

Go to Settings > System > Recovery.

Scroll to Recovery Options > Previous Version of Windows, and select “Go back” if it’s available.

Let me know how does it go and I hope that helps.

    Hi Bernard,

I tried browsing for drivers on my computer but there were none. and as you can see in the screenshot, the drivers for imaging devices and camera are not available and if I try to add them they don't show the inbuilt camera. I don't know if it's a system glitch or what. I tried downloading the driver from HP but there are no drivers available for Windows 11. I want to keep going back to Windows 10 as a last resort because it has been more than 10 days and I'll have to back up all my data. Is there anything else that might help?

Thanks for that we can get back to Windows 10 by doing a custom installation, however, the process will delete all apps but will retain all files on the PC, if you are okay with that, you may follow the steps provided below:

Step 1: Download the ISO File.

    Go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Scroll down and click "Download Tool Now" then run the Media creation tool (the downloaded file)

If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.

On What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC and then select Next.

Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10. This table will help you decide which edition of Windows 10 you’ll choose:

On Select which media you want to use click ISO file and save it to Desktop.

    Step 2:

Once you are done downloading the ISO, right-click > Then click Mount

Then follow the steps from Number 4 to the last from this link:
