Windows 10 App Security?

Hello, I recently purchased my son a PC for gaming, I am setup as the admin and he is set as a child account. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to provide him access to a specific app without having to type my account PIN every time he opens the app (to access his game mods). Is there some setting that will completely remove any security surrounding this app?

Microsoft Family settings from what I can tell have no power here as I've checked that there are no restrictions set to this app. The app I want him to have access to is called CurseForge which he launches to manage and play his Minecraft mods. Problem is every time he wants to switch a mod he has to relaunch the app therefore he needs my code which during a day of gaming could be every 15 min.

Someone please help, there's got to be an easy solution.

    Thank you for the screenshot.

This one is nothing to do with the Family Safety but it is User Account Control.

In case it is a trusted application, try login in your PC as administrator and navigate to the location of CurseForge.exe and see if it ask for administrator when you click on it. If yes, then right click on it and go to Compatibility tab and you will see Run this program as an administrator and check it and press Ok and then run in normal user and see if the problem persist?

You may click on the user and in the top right corner there is a gear icon and you may click on it and then under Content filters and you should see always allowed there.

Sorry. I wasn't able to figure what you were referencing (e.g the OS settings menu, the Family Safety website or app etc). Nonetheless I looked in all 3 places and there isn't an "always allowed" section I could find. I was able to see the apps and games and how long he spends in each place but none of them have restrictions or time limits associated with them.

I took a photo of the window that pops up and it's actually asking for the password in order to make changes to the device. Nonetheless the question remains the same, is there a way to tell Windows to not ask this each time without making him an admin and removing all the family safety features (time limits etc)?

Are you facing this issue with other applications?

Have you tried add it to the Always allowed .

Thanks for the reply. As of now that is the only app that always asks for my PIN. I think at one point I had added it to the Always Allowed but please remind me where that setting is so I can double check.

Full transparency, I'm a Mac guy so I am not the best at knowing where settings are etc.
