I just don't know if this is a problem that needs attention or what. But for the first time today I have 3 errors with the MiniSerachHost.exe. Is there a setting or a fix?

Hi Jeff

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That process (MiniSearchHost.exe) is for the small pane that appears if you move your mouse over the search icon on the Taskbar, and it is known to be buggy in Windows 11, and usually causes a blank panel to appear on your screen.

There is nothing further you need to do, Windows is designed to recover form those events, and most likely, Microsoft are working to fix the widespread bug in that process.

"There is nothing further you need to do" - thanks Dave, but the blank pane is really very annoying as it interferes with the cursor visibility in other application windows when you are working near the taskbar. I use Sysinternals Process Explorer to kill the window whenever it appears, this is rather tedious and reminds me of the bad old days - I hope MS can fix it soon:)
