Hi, hope everyone's safe and well : )

I've been following the instructions on how to block onmicrosoft.com emails, but I don't have Outlook.

Please, if someone would help me figure out how to block onmicrosoft.com emails from the mail service that comes with Windows 10.

Thank you very much

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly : )

So,please just an fyi. I would never waste anyone's time unless I've already tried the obvious.

And yes, I've tried to block onmicrosoft.com with my provider but they won't accept just a domain, they require the entire email address

    e.g.: ******@cqvccfwxcw.onmicrosoft.com

I've asked my provider how to block the domain onmicrosoft.com and they told me Microsoft was the only provider that could prevent/block these domain emails spams.

Please keep in mind that I receive 100's of these emails per day and they are all different email addresses, they only similarity is the onmicrosoft.com

Apparently because I use Microsoft products and my laptop is basically all Microsoft, I will never be able to block this domain.

Here's what I've received just in the last 5 minutes.

    ******@bvccyjuhyn.onmicrosoft.com

    ******@cbgtydgilo.onmicrosoft.com

    ******@bsoacwjkmu.onmicrosoft.com

    ******@bdejitvyte.onmicrosoft.com

Hahaha...they told you another lie. I have the paid version of Outlook and Office 365. Have blocked the onmicrosoft.com domain fifty times a day but they just keep coming in.

AHHH, Ok thank you again for all of your help Greg.

So what you're saying is... it doesn't matter that Yahoo is my provider as long as its synced with my windows mail app.,

I won't be able to block the domain because Window mail doesn't provide the features I need.

I will have no choice but to switch to Outlook, correct.

It still really bothers me that a microsoft domain can't be blocked on a Microsoft device.

I don't use any microsoft domains. I don't have any business or personal products using any microsoft domains... there should be a simple switch that would allow me to stop all onmicrosoft.com emails.

This is just so old... where's the technology? I'm so annoyed.

Even people with Window 11 can't get rid of this nuisance.

    I'm selling my laptop : (

Greg, thank you again for your answers.

I've noticed thousands of Microsoft users are suffering this problem and yes most are able to use a rule on Outlook.

However, those of us that cannot, would you be able to suggest the providers that will allow us to block this domain.

I don't want to go to all the work of changing my email address only to find I can't block onmicrosoft.com

    Thanks again,

Oh ok!?!, So there's no way to block them in the Windows 10 Mail app, ****!

Finally. lol I couldn't get anyone to tell me the truth. Thank you Greg! At least I know now.

    I hate Microsoft.

I used to use Outlook but it was just so glitchy or maybe it just takes up too much space ...

I found it took forever to send and receive emails.

Is there no way to just block the domain?

I mean onmicrosoft.com is a domain owned by Microsoft, right.

There must be a work around?
