Hi there I'm Using a Dell Inspiron 3501. I have a problem in my windows 11 PC. That is one of my drives which has important files in it is suddenly encrypted with Bitlocker. Actually I did not set any passwords to my drives but I dont know how it came to my drives.

So i tried to find the recovery key by searching it in aka.ms/myrecoverykey but it does not show the relevant key displayed in the drive to enter the 48 digit recovery key. I even tried to Load the key using a USB drive but it wasn't successful too. Please help me on this inquiry!

Press the Windows key, type Manage Bitlocker, after it appears in the search, click on Manage Bitlocker.

It will open Bitlocker Manager and list your computer's disks, please share a screenshot of this screen.

    Hello, how are you?

My name is Paloma B., I am very happy to be able to try to help you in the best possible way.

I understand that your disks have BitLocker lock, I'm sorry about this problem.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a BitLocker key when it hasn't been saved in some way.

But Dell notebooks have a built-in BitLocker service from the manufacturer that automatically activates, this is probably the case for you.

I recommend that you check with the manufacturer for this function.

Also go to the link below provided by the manufacturer for more information on this, there are instructions on how to get this disabled.

    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000125...

    I await news.
