Function keys

I can't seem to get the function keys to work on my Windows 11 gaming computer, although only a select few work when I am on the browser. Assistance would be appreciated! Thanks!

Edit: When in browser, it seems that the function keys that are labelled do things they aren't supposed to do. Example: The F5 button which is supposed to light up the keyboard refreshes the website page. The laptop is a Pavilion 15 gaming.

    Hi DeltaDagger08

    I am Dave, I will help you with this, the function keys are usually controlled a the manufacturers utility o BIOS

    If you press the Fn key + a function key (F1 - F12) does that produce the correct action?

    If it does, if you press Fn + Esc, does that reverse the need for the Fn key to be pressed?

    if not, boot into BIOS, do you see a setting to switch between Media Keys and Function Keys?
